We visited this place because it had high reviews but I was pretty disappointed. It was hard to get the young servers attention they seemed not interested, the pho took 20 minutes to get and 30 for the second dish so the pho was cold and I like to eat together with my partner. Could have been cleaner condiment bottles were dirty and gross. The pho was less than average but the noodle salad mix was pretty good. Atmosphere; it was really hot and the chairs make a really loud screech sound when people move them, so not relaxing. I feel bad to mention this but it's true, sorry some things to improve on.
Supposed to be one of Brisbane’s best pho. It was good, soup was tasty and rich. We also had the combination rice and really liked the pork chop that came with it. The rare beef is some sort of beef mince thing though which was a bit confusing as we thought it would be beef slices. We usually go to ca phe nam in west end, and some of us preferred that but others thought this was better.
Was recommended by many friends to try Pho An, said to be the best Pho in brisbane! Had the combination pho (medium) and the portion was so generous! Comes with lots of meat as well! Ordered some sides (fried pork chop, chicken wing and springroll) and they were all great!
Oh and best part was the unexpected free tea that is so comforting😊
Saw a few different reviews all saying their pho is the best so I went there with very high expectations, ordered a beef combination pho and a piece of pork chop. The broth from the pho was average, definitely not bad but not exceptionally good, the beef slices were broken down into small mince in the broth which was not acceptable, can't really taste the beef slice, but other ingredients were okay. The piece of pork chop was quite tender and juicy and I think the pork chop was better than the pho.
One of the best Pho (rare beef & combination), fried pork chop and Viet ice coffee in Brisbane. Soup could be sweeter as bit salty in my opinion. Chicken wing is fair as pork chop is definitely taste better. Would save the rice dishes next time to explore further. [10/12/23 Update] Bit disappointed with my visit today as the resturant has many flies circling and nothing has been done by the owner. Have rushed to finish my meal and run. Lastly I got charged for additional iced coffee I did not order & glad I verified when paying my bill.
Just had a damn good PHO ,as usual
Medicine for the SOUL.
Just had a Combination Noodle Salad.
Broken Rice-Best l've Ever Enjoyed.
We went for lunch with family, food was very tasty. Potentially one of the best tasting Vietnamese food I have had, I ordered the Combination Broken Rice, pork chop was very juicy and not dry like other places. Flavor was good.
Drinks came quick which was a plus. However, our order took 30mins to arrive, good thing was when we followed up with the staff the food came after 10mins. Menu is up on wall and in bits and pieces, probably need to update that.
Overall I would come again, hopefully the order won't be missed. Photo is not great, because I started eating before the photo was taken.
Soup is good and no added MSG!!!
Rice also good and pork chop is good.
Recommend it 👍
